I cooked this quick upma in my recently bought @pigeon Kessel and trust me it turned out just perfect.
Ingredients:
1) 1 Cup Sooji/ Semolina
2) 2.5 cups water
3) 1 tbsp Ghee/oil
4) ¼ tsp mustard seeds
5) 2 green chillies
6) ½ tsp urad dal & chana dal
7) 10-12 curry leaves
8) 1 onion finely chopped
9) ¼ cup peanuts
10) Salt to taste
Instructions:
1) Heat Pigeon kessel for 10 seconds and add ghee, Now add mustard seeds and let it splutter.
2) Add peanuts and cook this for 1 min. Now add curry leaves, Urad dal, chana dal and green chillies. Saute for 30 seconds.
3) Now add chopped onions and cook for 1 min.
4) Now add Sooji/ Semolina and roast this for about 2 mins.
5) Add Water & salt to taste and cook this for 2 mins. Now switch off the Kessel and cover this with lid and ketchup it rest for few mins.
6) Transfer to the plate and serve hot.
